Kids dash through a burst of color, then the whole family stays for an afternoon of holiday crafts, lawn games, and music to kick off the season.

This fall, Friends of Jack is trying something brand new. The Holiday Color Run & Family Fest is an afternoon built for kids and the grown-ups who cheer them on. Kids dash through a burst of color, then the whole family sticks around for holiday crafts, lawn games, music, and a family photo spot right here in Rochester.
We're teaming up with the Rochester Police Department to bring the afternoon to life. Everything about it ties back to one simple idea we believe in: there's a superhero inside all of us.
Since 2019, Friends of Jack has supported the physical, mental, and emotional health of children and families across SouthCoast Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Every family who comes out helps us keep showing up for local kids when they need it most.
“Not every superhero wears a mask and a cape.”
This year's Tutu Challenge & Toy Drive helps power our Holiday Toy Assistance Program for local children and families. [Confirm: does the Tutu Challenge kick off at the Color Run?]
A relaxed color dash for kids of all ages. Run it, walk it, or dance through it. [Distance and course details]
Thanks to a generous local company that donated an inflatable, there's plenty of room to bounce between color blasts.

Bring a towel and a change of clothes for the trip home.
A zip-top bag keeps the powder off your camera.
It's November in New England. Wear layers and comfy sneakers.
Children of all ages are welcome. A parent or guardian must stay on site and supervise their children for the whole event.
Not at all. Walk, jog, skip, or dance your way through. This is about fun, not finish times.
